Attention Volunteers and Friends of Grassroots Tosa
We want to thank you for all your hard work and support of our efforts so far to elect Tom Barrett for Governor and Mahlon Mitchell of Lieutenant Governor. Now we are in the final home stretch we need your help again so we can turnout our supporters on June 5th. All the polls tell us this election will be a very close race and voter turnout will crucial for our victory. We have put together the following volunteer opportunities for Grassroots Tosa activists:
Door-to-Door Canvassing and Phone Banks
Thursday May 31st, Friday June lst, Saturday June 2nd, Sunday June 3rd, & Tuesday June 5th
Grassroots Tosa will be canvassing with We Are Wisconsin in Wauwatosa and a doing phone bank at the Milwaukee County Labor Council. We are going door-to-door canvassing at homes of likely Democratic voters. Wauwatosa Literature Drop
Monday June 4th (Pick up door hanger flyer on Sunday June 3rd) Drop off a door-hanger flyer on Monday June 4th. Door-hangers will be available for pick up on Sunday June 3rd from 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Sandy Zellmer’s residence at 2472 North 65th for all of Tosa neighborhoods. We need 30-40 volunteers to cover the entire district. Early Morning Rallies in Wauwatosa
June 5th Tuesday – Early Morning Rallies on the Harmony Bridge and at the corner of 76th and North Avenue
For those of you who are available Tuesday morning, we are planning to rally and gather on the Harmony Bridge (State Street and Harwood Avenue) and on the corner of 76th and North Avenue with Barrett/Mitchell signs in Tosa from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. This will be a strong show of public support of Wauwatosa residents for our candidates.
June 5th Tuesday – Rides to the Polls
