Folks, we’re making history. Last week, about 30 of your fellow Tosans collected nearly 600 signatures.
That’s about 20 signatures per circulator. Now, imagine if we had a hundred circulators: That’s 2,000 We could have collected
Every circulator will tell you that many of the people signing have said “I’m glad I found you; I didn’t know where to sign.”
We’ve got to help our fellow progressives get on record in opposition to Scott Walker’s radical assault on teachers, children, workers, and voters.
Statewide, more than 300,000 signatures have been collected. That is terrific progress. But here in Milwaukee County, we’ve collected only about 70,000. We can and must make sure that our city and county are well-represented in this historic movement to restore sensible government to a state that’s so often been the leader in progressive government.
